“ First I called Milam Mazda to inquire about a used 2007 Silverado P.U. truck on an Sunday and talked with Ben who found the best internet price and gave me an overview of the truck. Since I live 165 miles away in a different state I asked the sales manager Ernie if there was any way I could put a hold deposit on the truck for 3 days, without hesitation he said yes and would need just a small deposit on my credit card which was contingent upon my purchasing the truck otherwise no problem my deposit would be returned. These two men were very helpful and accommodating. When I arrived Wednesday morning Mike greeted me and offered coffee first off and understood I had driven 3 hours to get to the dealership. Then he left me alone as requested so I could go over the truck with a "fine toothed comb" (I even brought my magnifying glass to read all the RPO numbers in the glove box)! After a thorough inspection in and out Mike gave me directions on where to take the truck for a test drive so I could run it through all driving conditions (very helpful). I found a couple of minor issues which Mike offered to fix or give me a compensation discount to fix the truck myself, since I told him I like to do most minor repairs myself. Needless to say I bought the truck and Mike offered to gas it up too since I had driven so far for my purchase. Their young finance manager was so friendly and competent, and all the paper work and trip permits went through in a flash, even though I paid cash there are always a stack of papers to sign. From start to finish this deal went very smoothly especially considering the long distance I traveled to purchase my used truck. Every person I dealt with was personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. The bottom line is I will come back soon to purchase a Mazda CX-3 which I am quite impressed with the quality and style.
